Atlanta Poker Club AllStars – Final Week

apc-all-star-chip.gif

This Monday, January 28th starts the final week of qualifications for the Season 12 AllStars . You have until the APC online game on Sunday, February 3rd to accumulate 1500 points or be a venue points leader. As of this posting there were 22 players already qualified and still others very much within reach. These players are within 300 points and have a very legitimate shot of making it in: Dion Knudtson, Terri Ghioalda, Jarome Dowdy, Denny Gibbons, Gerald Shafer, John Furg, Mike Cobb and Jim Burns. Even if you have more than 300 points to go, you can still get in, just get out this week and accumulate as many points as possible.

Qualifying and winning the AllStar Championship is as coveted as winning the Grand Championship by most players, and is definately a title one would like to have on their resume. The players that are invited to the tournament are the who’s who of that season among the points leaders and it is always a tough tournament.

The AllStar tournament will be held on Saturday, March 1st, 2008 but this is the last week to qualify so get out and rack up those points. Also this week, Jeffrey’s in Suwanee will be having Double Player Points, so if you really need points then you will want to make sure to make it out for that.

This Friday, February 1st there will be Double Points awarded at Southern Comfort in Lawrenceville. This will be the last chance to receive double points for AllStars qualifications. If you are on the verge, you will not want to miss this.

Not sure where you stand? Check out the APC Leaderboard for up to date points information.
