Downriggers in Winder is offering a $650.00 casino package. That’s a $550.00 buy-in to an event and casino of your choice and $100.00 for travel.
Southern Comfort in Lawrenceville is giving away $550.00 in prizes this season. The season points champion will receive a $300.00 Airtran gift certificate and the venue champion will receive a $250.00 Airtran gift certificate.

Poker in Druid Hills Packs the Famous Pub
It’s the beginning of Season 13 for the Atlanta Poker Club, and it started with a fun crowd at the Famous Pub on North Druid Hills with 64 Texas Hold’em Players.
New players to the game and the APC regulars joined to make this a really exciting evening of poker. This venue is growing by leaps and bounds as the great beer selection and excellent food are not quite a well kept secret any longer!

Welcome to Season 13 of the APC.
The new season starts tonight, Feb. 25 and continues until May 25.

This is the last season to qualify for the Quad 4 promotion. If you haven’t already qualified then make sure you get out and play. This could be your best chance to get a seat in Vegas this year!

Last chance to qualify for the Atlanta Poker Club Season 12 Grand Championship week begins today, Monday February 18.
If you have earned at least 100 points during Season 12 then you are eligible to win a last chance qualifying seat by winning the main tournament at any Atlanta Poker Club venue!

Ladies Night at the Famous Pub
Laides of the APC, listen up. This Wednesday, Feburary 13th, the Atlanta Poker Club will be having a ladies night tournament at the Famous Pub sports bar.

The Famous Pub’s tournament director, David ” Red ” Wilson has decided to do something special for the ladies. Any lady that shows up to play, or anyone that shows up dressed as a lady, will receive an extra $500.00 starting chip for the tournament.
If you haven’t yet checked out this venue, then here is your chance. I’m not sure how many guy’s will be showing up in drag, but a place filled with APC ladies sounds like a great place to be.
Sign up for the tournament is 6:30 and cards fly at 7:30.

Atlanta Poker Club - Paulding County Rotary Club - Charity Tournament

The Atlanta Poker Club along with the Paulding County Rotary Club will be hosting a charity tournament on Saturday February 9th at 9:00 a.m.
Atlanta Poker Club Charity Tournament
A donation of $125.00 entitles you to atend this event. Those in attedance that play in the tournament will be playing for some great prizes:
- A seat in the World Poker Challenge in Reno, NV on March 25th, 2008 including airfare and hotel accommodations ( 6 days and 5 nights ) at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino.
- 3 days and 2 nights in Tunica, MS including airfare and hotel plus a buy-in to the weekly tournament at The Grand Casino Tunica.
- Other prizes may include poker tables, chips, cards, gift cards, and other exciting gifts provided by our event sponsors.
- There will also be food available which includes BBQ and the Hooters Girls will be there with wings.
* The Paulding County Rotary Club reserves the right to substitute prizes if any of the prizes become unavailable.
Each person who chooses to play will be issued 5000 starting chips. Must be 21 years of age to play. Chips have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. This is a single elimination tournament, no re-buys or add-ons.
There are a limited amount of seats; therefore it is encouraged to make your donations early.
