APC Double Points Week | 4/28 - 5/4
All this week the Atlanta Poker Club will be having Double Points at a lot of the venues we play.
With this being the last qualifying week for AllStars, these points will really come in handy for quite a few people.

Winners Circle Promotion #2 | Season 13
The Atlanta Poker Club is excited to annouce the second series of a new promotion for Season 13. The APC Winner’s Circle #2 is an invite only tournament that is open to all players that win a regular tournament during the second 4 weeks of the season.
Qualifications
Dates: 03/24/2008 - 04/20/2008
Requirement: Regular Tournament Win
Event Information
Date: May 3, 2008
Time: Register at 12:00 p.m. / Cards Fly at 1:00 p.m.
Location: Downriggers Bar and Grille 
Prizes
1st - $125 Visa Gift Card
2nd - $50 Visa Gift Card
3rd - $25 Visa Gift Card
2nd chance tournaments do not count as a win, and you do not get any bonus chips for multiple wins, although you do limit your competition. Also wins are now listed in the leaderboard results!

Southern Comfort adds Wednesday beginning April 23rd 2008
We are happy to announce that Southern Comfort in Lawrenceville has added Wednesday Nights to their line up. Now you have three nights per week to play Texas Holdem in Lawrenceville.
SoCo has good food, drinks and some of the best poker around, so you will want to make sure you check out this venue if you haven’t already.
Travis Hart is the TD and he looks forward to having you and helping to have a enjoyable experience and bring some fun to the middle of your work week.

APC 4th Anniversary | April 22nd @ Jeffrey’s Suwanee
The 4th anniversary was a rousing success with over 100 players showing up. Congrats to Travis Hart for not only being the last man standing of the ” APC old timers “, but also taking down the whole tourney. Check out the 4th anniversary pics. here.
It’s been 4 great years that the Atlanta Poker Club has been bringing the best bar texas holdem poker games to the Metro Atlanta area.
The Atlanta Poker Club would like to reward all the APC players and especially the ones who have been around since the beginning.
This coming Tuesday, April 22nd, we will be having a special tournament to celebrate our 4th anniversary but we are giving you the presents.
This will basically be a tourney inside a tourney. All APC players are invited to attend and play. Regular season players who play will be entitled to win points and the usual bar prize but we will make sure you receive a special bonus gift as well.
Prizes will also be given to the last person standing from the players that played the very first night with us. There will also be a prize given to the last person standing from those who earned points in the first two seasons.

Here are a couple of the prizes to be given away. The winner of the invited list that includes all the first night players and the season 1& 2 points earners will receive the copper colored zippo. New Venue | Murphy’s Brass Rail
The APC would like to welcome it’s newest venue - Murphy’s Brass Rail.
We will be having poker tournaments on Thursday and Friday night’s beginning Friday, May 16th 2008. The first Thursday night tourney will be May 22nd.
The first night for this venue will also be the last night for points for Season 13, so in light of this we are going to have Double Player Points!
The next week we will also have Last Chance events so you can play here and win a seat to the Season 13 Grand championship.

Grille at Ivy Creek | Closed This Week !!!!!
The Grille at Ivy Creek is closed this week and the APC will not be having tournaments on Wed. 4/9, Thurs. 4/10 or Saturday 4/12. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Make sure to check the calendar to see where you can still play poker on these nights.
APC Winner’s Circle Event 1
The first Winners Circle Event seemed to be a rousing success. 33 of the 57 players qualified showed up to play in this unique tournament. The event was held at Bottom of the Cup Golf Grill and Bar which is owned by long time APC’ers Gary Hall and Ben Nash. They have received rave reviews by everyone that has visited them so far. If you haven’t yet made it out to this great place, then make sure you do soon.
