Silver Coin Venue - Bottom of the Cup

Starting on Tuesday, September 2nd, the Bottom of the Cup will be hosting the first ever “Silver Coin Invitational”.  This tournament is reserved for Atlanta Poker Club members who have earned a “Silver Coin” from past accomplishments with the APC.

This venue will take place on Tuesdays at 7:30 at Bottom of the Cup Golf in Braselton.

To be eligible to play in this event you need to:

  1. Place 1st or 2nd in the Speed Tourney(s) that take place at 6:30pm (ALL APC’ers welcome to try their luck in these tournaments).
  2. Earned a coin from the APC from either a Venue Championship, Venue Points Championship, Season Points Championship, Seasonal Championship Allstar Championship or winner of special large event such as the WSOP Quad 4’s / Jeffreys Challenge etc.
  3. To those without coins - there will be a way where you can win a seat in this tournament. There will be two speed tournaments started at 6:30 and the top 2 from each 1 table tournament get a seat in the Silver Coin event. That means 4 non coin holders can play, regardless of whether or not you earned a silver coin in the past.

Here is the current list of qualified players as best as can be recalled from the history of the APC.  If you have won a coin (or a championship) and your name is not on the list, please visit this thread in the forum to add your name.

Survey Results 2008

APC Survey Results

I’d like to first thank all APC’ers for playing poker with us and taking your time to fill out our surveys and give us some incredible feedback! I wanted to share with everyone the results of the survey and let you know that we are taking this feedback to heart and are actively working to constantly improve the quality and enjoyment of Atlanta Poker Club poker. We also hope to have a compiled list of total numbers, but this is a good overview of what the APC 2008 survey told us about how we are doing, what we can do to improve, and how we can continue to make the Atlanta Poker Club the best place to play no limit texas holdem in Georgia!

APC Spotlight on Jim Burns and Willie Beamin

The Atlanta Poker Club would like to recognize the past two APC season champions as they get ready to test their skills in Tunica, MS next month. Jim Burns and Willie Beamin both won seats to play in a $550.00 WSOP or WPT event by winning the APC Season 11 and 10 championships respectively. Here is a quick interview with them and we wish them the best of luck at becoming the first Atlanta Poker Club members to win a professional tournament.
