APC League Structure

The Atlanta Poker Club (APC) plays poker league tournaments at local restaurants, bars and pubs in and around Atlanta. Members compete to win thousands of dollars worth of prizes and points for monthly, seasonal Grand Championships and yearly points races & challenges, where you can win even more valuable prizes and awards, all for FREE, when you are a member of the APC! The Club

The APC is a community of poker players that play and compete against one another in structured poker league tournaments. We have a group of players who enjoy playing poker together and competing in the poker league. Join the Atlanta Poker Club and play Texas Hold’em poker with us. See if you can take home the title of Atlanta Poker Club Champion!

The League

The league plays Poker League Touraments for points. All tournaments are completely free to play in. By earning points, players qualify to play in exclusive tournaments with prizes. These prizes range from gift cards to seats in major casino poker tournaments. The league tracks all results and updates a leaderboard using our state of the art poker league software. Results and points are displayed at atlantapokerclub.com and other websites and forums.

Monthly Points Race

The monthly points race is simple. Earn as many points as possible from the 1st of the month through the final day of the month at any APC event. Here is what you will win in the monthly points race.

1st in overall points wins $100 + Seat in Seasonal Championship + Yearly Championship Tournament
1st – 60th in overall points win a seat in the Monthly Points Tournament

Monthly Challenge Points Tournament

The monthly points tournaments combines the top points earners each month to an invitation only tournament with $500 prize pool up for grabs! Every month! How to qualify…

Earn enough points to be in the the top 60 in overall points for the month.

Prizes you’ll win…

1st wins $350 in Gift Cards
2nd wins $100 in gift cards
3rd wins $50 in gift cards

We will attempt to schedule the monthly challenges on the second weekend of the following month consistently, but you must keep up with the calendar of events for exact dates and locations as they will vary.

Seasons

Atlanta Poker Club has three seasons per year, each four months long. The APC Year begins with Summer Season and progresses through Winter Season.

Summer Season: April 1 – July 31
Fall Season: Aug 1 – Nov 30
Winter Season: Dec 1 – Mar 31

Venue Season Points Race

Each season there is a points race at each individual venue. Here is what you’ll win if you are the Venue Season Points Race winner:

Venue Season Championship Tournament

At the conclusion of each season we hold venue specific championship tournaments. Usually the top 10 in points at each venue play for the venue championship. Qualifications criteria and prizes for venue championships are venue specific. View the venue listing details for specific venue questions.

Venue Season Championship tournaments begin on first week of the following season (always check the calendar for any holiday adjustments). Please remember that the prizes for this tournament are venue specific.

Season Points Race

The Seasonal Points race is the league wide race to see who earns the most points over the entire season. The Seasonal Points Race winner gets the following prizes:

Season Grand Championship Tournament

The Seasonal Grand Championship Tournament is the league wide tournament held at the conclusion of each season. This tournament is scheduled to occur within 2-3 weeks after the season is complete. Here is how you qualify for the Seasonal Grand Championship Tournament.

Top 50 in Overall Points for the Season
Top 10 in any individual venue points race for the season
Win a Season Venue Championship Tournament
Win a Monthly Points Tournament

The Season Grand Championship Tournament prizes are:

1st = $550 WSOP or WPT Seat in Tunica + $150 for Travel + Custom Rectangular Card Guard + APC Gear + Entry Yearly Championship Tournament
2nd = $150 in Gift Cards + choice of APC Gear
3rd = $50 in Gift Cards + choice of APC Gear
4th – 10th = Choice of APC Gear

You may earn bonus chips in the Season Grand Championship on the following scale:

1st in overall points = 1500 Bonus Chips
2nd in overall points = 1000 bonus chips
3rd – 10th in overall points = 500 bonus chips

All Stars Season Tournament

All Stars Season Tournament is the once per season tournament where anyone who has earned a certain amount of points by a certain point in the season play to see who becomes the All Stars Champion for that season. If you win an All Stars tournament you know you have played against and triumphed over some of the most skilled and high quality poker players. Here is how you qualify for All Stars.

Earn 2000 points or more within the first three months of the season. You have until the final day of third month each season to earn points.
Be a venue points leader at the end of the third month in any venue night that has played eight times.

All Stars Tournament Prizes are:

1st wins $150 in gift cards + Seat in Yearly Championship Tournament + Custom Card Guard
2nd wins $50 in gift cards + Seat in Yearly Championship Tournament
3rd wins $25 in gift cards + Seat in Yearly Championship Tournament

Yearly Points Race

The Yearly Points is the race to earn the most points for the entire year, Summer season through Winter Season.

Player who earns most points from April 1st – March 31st wins a custom card guard

Yearly Championship Tournament

The APC Yearly Championship tournament is the APC’s biggest tournament held each year. The Yearly championship is designed to award our biggest prize of the year, a seat into the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas! It is scheduled to take place once per year, at the conclusion of Winter Season. A yearly cycle starts in Summer Season and finishes in Winter Season. This tournament combines factors and results from across all three seasons of the year. Here is how to qualify for the Yearly Championship Tournament.

Finish in the top 100 in total points combined through Summer, Fall and Winter Seasons
