Aimee Kargen could arguably be the best female to come from the Atlanta Poker Club. She started out dealing the game and then began playing with the APC in April 2005. Some of her most notable accomplishments to date are: A 7th place finish out of 558 at the Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza in June 2007, APC All Star Champion for season 10, and was in the top 10 on the overall leaderboard for season 10. She currently has 11 wins and that leads all females to date. She is constantly trying to improve her game by reading books and articles, watching televised tournaments and discussing strategy with fellow players.

Favorite Poker Pro? I like many of them, but top 3 are : Daniel Negraneau, Doyle Brunson and Antonio Esfandari.
Who has influenced you play the most? My Dad. He’s been playing Texas Hold Em for over 40 years and has been a great resource for me to discuss strategy.
Is there anything you still want to accomplish with the APC? I’d love to win a season championship.
Any advice you can give to new members joining the APC? Come in, sit down, and play some cards with us… We’re glad to have you join us.
