Relatively new to the APC and to Poker, Wendy started her affair with cards as a Blackjack player back in 1999. She had only a common knowledge of poker, playing with friends around the kitchen table. Then in July of 2007, on a business trip, she played a friendly tournament with some co-workers – one of which was a serious player. She won. She won the rematch… and the re-re match the following day. Her co-worker encouraged her to pursue poker seriously. She started playing online freerolls to get her feet wet, then in September she found the Atlanta Poker Club. Starting 4 weeks into Season 11 she managed to make All Stars and qualify for the Grand Championship, and 1 venue championship.

Who has influenced your play the most? Honestly, everyone in the Atlanta Poker Club as taught me something. Every time I sit down with skilled players, and not-so skilled players I learn something new about how to play my game.
What else do you wish to accomplish with the APC? Win AllStars!
Any advice you can give to new members joining the APC? Poker is a game, it’s supposed to be “fun”But if you are looking to improve your game, then pay attention to the other APC playersIf they offer you advice, shut up and listen.
