Willie Beamin started playing with the Atlanta Poker Club in the middle of season 9. He has come a long way as a poker player and has 4 wins under his belt. Willie also made the AllStars in season 11 and was the season 10 Grand Champion. One of Willie’s best poker traits is the ability to put his opponents on certain hands. You can hear him time and time again calling out a players hand and you can even see him lay down KK as he did in the season 11 Grand Championship when he knew his opponent had AA.

Favorite Poker Pro? I have a lot but probably Phil Ivey and I also enjoy Daniel Negraneau. They are both just awesome.

Who has influenced your play the most? Jason Burdis, Rob Hughes and Travis Hart. Jason taught me position…Rob taught me patience…Travis taught me to loosen up my play.

Anything else you want to accomplish with thw APC? Would like to win AllStars and a venue championship.

Any advice for new members joining tbe APC? Play for real kiddo’s… Practice makes you a better player. One of the few games that you get better with age.
